Indie Spotlight: Lush Lacquer!

Hey everyone!  So I was looking through my photos to see what I wanted to post today and found lots of pictures from last year that I still haven't done post on!  The next couple of weeks will be "catch up" for me so that these pictures will finally have their time to shine on the blog! : )

Today I want to share some swatches of some Lush Lacquer polishes that I bought a while ago!  Lush Lacquer is an indie polish brand that has TONS of awesome glitter polishes that will make you drool! 

My small but MIGHTY Lush Lacquer collection (believe me, this will be expanding soon)!  From L to R:  Party Hearty, Salt n Peppa, and Summer Lovin.

Party Hearty:  A light pink polish filled with multi-sized glitter (including bright blue hearts)!

I was a little worried about the application since this had quite a few big hearts in it but it was surprisingly easy to fish out the bigger glitter after I left the bottle upside down for a few minutes.  (2 coats w/ top coat)

 Salt n Peppa:  A combination of black and white glitter with a hint of iridescent glitter in the mix.

Salt n Peppa reminds me of a very popular black and white glitter that I discovered when I first started blogging (indie polish lovers know which one I'm talking about) so I was happy to find a close dupe offered in a mini size.  The polish was easy to apply and laid nicely on my nails.  In the pic above I have 1 coat over Sally Hansen Coral Reef (left) and Wet n Wild On a Trip (right).

Summer Lovin:  A fun neon pink polish filled with pink, blue, white, and yellow glitters.

This polish is so fun!  The glitter was easy to apply and distribute on the nail.  The photo above doesn't show it's true neon-ness (is that even a word)?!  I think Summer Lovin is a perfect polish for summer.  I applied 1 coat over Sinful Colors Easy Colors Easy Going but I would recommend applying this over a white to get the full neon color on your nails.

I love indie polishes and Lush Lacquer has a bunch of polishes that I definitely want to add to my collection.

Hungry Asian Nail Polish Swatches!

Hey guy!  Today I have some swatches of my first Hungry Asian polishes!  I bought these sometime last year but, just like my Rainbow Honey swatches, these were all jumbled in a deep abyss of nail swatch pictures and I forgot to post them.  

 Here they are!  I love the cute labels and the bottles!  

 I just had to add a picture of the package!  It's so cute and I love the little note too!

Rainbow Honey Swatches: Equestria Collection

Hey y'all today I have some swatches of a few polishes from Rainbow Honey's Equestria collection!  I bought these when they first came out last year and swatched them, but I completely forgot to upload them! >.<

Let's get to the swatches!

 

  

The Element of Magic:  a purple base filled with all kinds of purple, pink, silver, and holo glitter!  I applied two coats over China Glaze Coconut Kiss.

The Worst Possible Thing:  a clear base filled with blue and purple flakes and holo, pink, and purple glitters!  I applied one coat over Sinful Colors Lavender (left) and Sinful Colors Black on Black (right).

Celestia: a sheer blue base filled with shimmer and opalescent flakes.  I applied two coats over Color Club Take Me To Your Chatuae (left) and Sinful Colors Black on Black (right).

Lacquer Convention Swatches!!!

Hey guys! You might remember that I was on an indie polish buying kick a couple of months ago...well today I have the first of many swatch post of some indie polishes that I've added to my growing addiction collection.

To be honest, I really don't remember where I first saw Lacquer Convention polishes, but I can say that they have awesome shipping!  I bought my polishes on a Saturday and got them on a Monday, they are located in California and I'm in Texas!!!

So here are the swatches!

The first color that I picked up is Pop Tart, a white jelly base filled with multi color/sized glitters.

 

For the swatch I applied two coats over a white base on my ring finger and three coats alone on my pinkie.

 

 The next color that I picked up is Sparkle Berry Cobbler, a glitter top coat filled with small gold round glitter, gold bar glitter, and a mixed of medium sized purple, blue, and pink glitters.

 

For the swatch I applied two coats of SBC over two coats of China Glaze Urban-night.

(Can we applaud my sister for letting me use her nails for the swatch *applause* lol)

 

 The last polish that I bought is Galinda, a sheer pink base with medium blue and holo purple glitter and small pink glitter.

 

For the swatch I applied two coats over OPI Lucky, lucky, lavender on my left thumb and three coats alone on my right thumb.

Nail Polish Spotlight: Pretty&Polished Candy Coated

Hello everyone!  I hope you all are having a great Sunday.  Today the nail polish spotlight is going to shine over Pretty&Polished Candy Coated!  I bought this polish a couple of months ago, you can see my P&P haul HERE, and it is definitely one of my favorite indie polishes, .

Candy Coated is a sheer lavender pink polish with purple, pink, and holo glitters!

 I applied two coats P&P Candy Coated over two coats of OPI Lucky lucky lavender!  The application was great and I had no problems getting a good amount of glitter on my nails.  The wear of this polish was also very good!  I wore this mani for a week and I had very little tip wear.

365 Days of Color Haul + Swatches!

Hey y'all today I have some beautiful polishes from 365 Days of color to show you!  I've been wanting to try some of her polishes so when she had promo code for reaching 2500 Facebook likes I decided to pick up a few polishes!

Pretty & Polished Haul + Swatches!

Hey y'all!  Today I'm going to show y'all the polishes that I bought from Pretty & Polished a few weeks ago!!!  I've been doing some research on indie brand polishes and decided that I was going to take the plunge and buy a few.  A few ended up being 12 in two days, yeah I kind of went a little crazy!

I started stalking researching Pretty & Polished since that was the brand that I saw a lot of fellow polish bloggers and addicts drooling over.  One time stalked her Etsy store during a sale just to see how fast her polishes go, and boy do they go fast!  I'm pretty sure all of her polishes went in about 10-15 minutes!  After I saw that sale I knew that if I wanted to have any chance to get her polishes I would have to be quick!

Chels announced another restock on her facebook page a couple weeks later and I began my preparation for combat shopping!  I opened three different pages and refreshed them like crazy about 10 minutes before the sale was live.  I ended up getting all of the polishes that I wanted and was amazed that my plan worked!!!  The shipping was lightning fast and I received my polishes in about 3 business days.
